The following section provides a summary of the issues that have been resolved in the latest version of Catalyst® for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. These include:
Enabling clone mode followed by playing a video clip no longer results in the underscan/overscan option failing to working when using Theater mode.
Connecting an Apple 30 inch dual link display device to an ATI Radeon® X1800 series using the interlink dongle, no longer results in only two display mode being available in the Catalyst® Control Center
Running either the Ruby Demo Dangerous Curves or Double Cross under Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, with CrossFire® enabled no longer results in errors and checkered pattern corruption being noticed

The following section provides a summary of open issues in the latest version of Catalyst® for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. These include:
Using Movie Maker 2.1 to capture video under Windows XP Professional x64 Edition results in the captured video being corrupt. Further details can be found in topic number 737-19820
Call of Duty 2: Playing the game on a system running the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and with a dual link display capable of 2560x1600 32bpp may result in an off center display that is black in color. Further details can be found in topic number 737-21182

This version exceeds the performance and quality of the previous catalysts considerably and is highly recommended for any ATI owner running a 64 bit windows flavour.
File Description: Windows XP 64 bit drivers for ATI graphics cards. Based on the ATI Catalyst 5.4 32 bit drivers. Multiple game bug fixes have been made to these drivers including Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Splinter Cell, Sail Simulator 4 and Pacific Fighters.

File Description: Nvidia Forceware Drivers version 70.80 for Microsoft Windows XP x64 Edition, Windows 2003 x64 Edition. This driver improves performance and fixes several bugs related to the 66.96 driver.
File Description: 71.84 Forceware drivers for windows XP X64 edition. These drivers are directly based on the 71.84 32 bit drivers and carry all inherent faults and fixes.
These drivers have a temperature reporting bug. The drivers report temperatures up to 20 degrees celcius above normal. To fix this problem, install CoolBits 2.0 to allow the overclocking tab, and overclock your 2D, core speed by 5-20mhz. This will fix the temperature issue. Remember, overclock the 2D to fix it, overclocking the 3D speed is the same as always but has no effect on temperature reports.
Bug fixes include HALO corruption fixed, de_aztec texture corruption fixed and Splinter cell SM3.0 corruption fixed.
These drivers feature improved image quality over previous 64 bit drivers and include OpenGL 2.0 support for Windows XP 64. Highly recommended.
File Description: NGO Performance and Quality modified Nvidia Forceware drivers for Windows XP x64 Edition. These drivers are the first real modified 64 bit drivers, and they really do give 64 bit systems the boost they have been needing in the 3D department. Several game bug fixes and image quality enhancements have been made as well. Highly recommended for any 64 bit Nvidia system owner, and a must have, for Far Cry 64 bit fans.
File Description: This driver set offers a slight performance improvement in Shader Model 2.0 based games on the Windows XP 64 bit platform, over the previous 76.71 driver set, along with some further enhancements to compatability, and bug fixes. As of June 1st 2005, the newest driver set around for Nvidia cards on a 64 bit platform.
File Description: 77.13 Stable driver for Windows XP x64 edition. Very good image quality and performance, no ill effects to video quality, better driver set than the 77.40s
File Description: 77.40 Nvidia ForceWare Driver set for Windows XP x64 Edition. These drivers DO NOT include the Nvidia installer, so must be installed manually by going, add new hardware, and pointing the add new hardware wizard to the .INF file in this driver.
File Description: This is the 77.56 Nvidia Forceware Driver set for 64 bit Windows XP. This driver has shown alot of promise, and is set to be the next (and second) of the XG 64 bit drivers. Well worth a try.
File Description: This is the 64 bit version of the Nvidia 81.33 driver set. The 32 bit drivers were not particularly promising, however some people might find differently depending on their setup. The major feature these drivers have is the ability to run two non-identical (same model, different brand) cards in SLI mode.

File Description: Nvidia Forceware 84.56 driver for Windows XP x64 Edition. A nice driver set, with great image quality, very good performance, similar to the 84.37 set. No known bugs or issues. All around a very good driver.
File Description: This is the ATI OpenGL driver. If you replace the 64bit driver with this one, you should be able to use OpenGL properly in Windows 64
File Description: ATI RADEON 8500 64-bit - These are UNOFFICIAL, non-ATI released display drivers that will work in Windows XP 64-Bit for all ATI video cards on ATI's site with the addition of Radeon 8500/8500LE. These will show signifant performance improvements over the default drivers included with Windows XP 64-Bit. Using these drivers will also enable the installation of ATI's Control Panel for configuration and video tweaking.
